Keep in mind that with this approach you cannot format text, make corrections, or navigate fields by voice, so you will manually place your cursor in each field before dictating.

Option 2: Use the Dictation Box for Full Voice Control

The dictation box is the preferred option when you want to dictate, correct, and navigate auto-text fields entirely by voice. From the Dragon bar hamburger menu, select Options, choose Text Input, check Open Dictation Box, and click Apply.

With the dictation box enabled, place your cursor in Sevocity and say your smart phrase or auto-text word to begin. You can move between auto-text fields using the arrow keys on your PowerMic or the PowerMic Mobile app, dictate into each field, and edit your text with voice commands as you go.

Transferring Text Into the Encounter

When you finish dictating a section, say transfer text, press the transfer button on your PowerMic, or click transfer within the dictation box to move the text into the encounter. If you prefer a hands-off finish, Dragon can be set to transfer text automatically whenever you turn off or mute your microphone.
